The College is seeking a highly skilled and committed VET Coordinator to commence on Monday 20 July, 2026 (Term 3). The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging. <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As an <strong>Acting VET Coordinator (1pt)</strong>, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 1-point promotional role. Both the promotional role and teaching position are a temporary maternity leave cover commencing in Week 1 of Term 3 for a maximum period of 12 months. You'll bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>expertise in VET subjects, with additional teaching areas advantageous</li>
<li>strong classroom management and student well-being focus</li>
<li>ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences</li>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
