Looking for an energetic and passionate Coordinator of French & External Languages to join our team. Full time, permanent position from Term 2, 2026.
<p>We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of French to lead our High School French and external languages programs.</p>
<p>It is the role of the Coordinator of French & External Languages to provide outstanding leadership, guiding reflective, future-oriented and evidence-informed best practice in the delivery of our classroom programs in the High School. They will be someone who will bring new and engaging methods of teaching French to students and instil in them a passion for the language and culture.</p>
<p>French is taught in Years 8 to 12 at Emanuel School. The Coordinator of French & External Languages has overall responsibility for the leadership of all aspects of the French program and the administration of student participation in external languages through NSW School of Languages. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong involvement in the life of the School and the wider community and would be committed to supporting the ethos of the School.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will have successful experience teaching French years 8-12, Stage 6 experience is essential, and have a familiarity with NESA School of Languages processes. They will have a relevant degree/teaching qualification, be accredited with NESA and hold a current Working With Children Check.</p>
<p>This is a full time, permanent position commencing from the start of Term 2, 2026.</p>

<p><i>If you are a passionate Teacher of French but not quite ready for a Coordinator position, we'd still love to hear from you. We are open to someone starting out in a teaching role and growing into the coordinator position in the future. </i></p>
