<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
The successful applicant will support teachers as part of a team in the implementation of a new Montessori Kindergarten program. This innovative initiative places Catholic faith and values at the centre of learning and teaching, while ensuring full compliance with NESA requirements for Early Stage 1. The role requires an experienced Montessori Learning Support professional, who can contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment, to establish and sustain this new model of learning for our Kindergarten students. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, initiative and professionalism, with the capacity to work both collaboratively and independently within a structured, faith-based educational setting. You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>hold an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Diploma (3-6 age range) or an AMI Assistant Certificate (3-6 age range)</li>
<li>have a minimum of three years' experience in an assistant or learning support role within a Montessori setting in NSW</li>
<li>demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to take initiative in maintaining the Montessori environment in accordance with the teacher's guidance</li>
<li>be confident in the preparation and creation of Montessori materials and classroom resources as directed by teaching staff</li>
<li>exhibit sound ICT skills to support the development of materials and the maintenance of digital records</li>
<li>have experience with, or a willingness to learn, the Transparent Classroom application for recording and monitoring student progress, under the direction of the teacher</li>
<li>demonstrate strong observational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding student engagement, learning and progress, both verbally and in writing.</li>
