Junior School Diverse Learning Teacher

Shellharbour Anglican College is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified and dynamic Christian Teacher for our Junior School Diverse Learning team. The position will provide educational, social and emotional support to students across the College. This position is 0.4FTE (2 days/week) to commence as soon as able. This role will be based in the Junior School and reporting to the Coordinator of Academic Care.
<p>An energetic and authentic educator, committed to fostering a deep love of learning in students, you will have a personal Christian Faith demonstrating a commitment to Christian teaching practice. You will have the ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into your interactions with staff, students and the broader community.</p>
<p>You will demonstrate passion for teaching and learning as well as for differentiated learning and assessment that caters to the individual needs of all students. A willingness to be flexible in approaches to learning, including exploring evidence-based and innovative pedagogies and new approaches to the teaching of students who require learning support, or are high potential / gifted or twice exceptional is essential.</p>
<p>You will have an exceptional understanding and knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education 2005 and the ability to encourage and inspire students in their love of learning. Skills and experience in using a range of diagnostic testing is also crucial in the role to support student success. You will have a proven track record in helping students grow in their learning outcomes and sense of wellbeing and using digital technology for student and teacher learning.</p>
