<p>St Michael’s Primary School is situated in Traralgon located 2 hours from Melbourne's CBD on the M1 and 2 hours to the lakes region along the south coast of Victoria. &nbsp;Amble along the wide tree-lined streets, beautiful gardens and spacious parklands of Gippsland's largest city. Located in the Latrobe Valley, on the Princes Highway (M1), Traralgon lies at the intersection of many a Gippsland adventure. As the region's entertainment capital, Traralgon has an ever-expanding choice of top-notch dining options and a thriving pub and club scene. Sport is a big deal in Traralgon, and the city plays host to a number of netball, AFLW and AFL events throughout the year. &nbsp;When in Traralgon, you will be visiting the lands of the Gunaikurnai People.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>St Michael's Primary School is an inclusive, inviting and team orientated workplace. The current enrolment is 447 students from Foundation to Grade 6. &nbsp;A comprehensive Specialist program includes, LOTE, Digital Technologies, Sport, STEM and an inspiring Visual Arts Program. Our classrooms provide the latest resources and IT infrastructure.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our school is committed to valuing young people and their development as persons with a lifelong love of learning.&nbsp;</p> <p>Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for the position of <strong>Administration Officer – Finance </strong>to commence on 20th April 2026. This is an Education Support Employee Category B Level 2 position under the <i>Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022</i>.</p> <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education, along with a clear dedication to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children.</p> <p>They will possess appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience, show enthusiasm and capability across a broad range of finance and administrative functions, and be able to provide effective support to the Principal while upholding and respecting the school’s ethos and community.</p> <p>Appointment to the role will be subject to a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
