Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Corrimal Parish with an enrolment of approximately 339 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> St Columbkille's Catholic Parish Primary School, Corrimal</p> <p>A temporary part time parental leave replacement position commencing 16 March 2026 until 25 September 2026.</p> <p>The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across dance and drama.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Implement effective teaching strategies.</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Creative Arts K–6 Syllabus developed by the&nbsp;NSW Education Standards Authority, with particular expertise in&nbsp;<strong>Dance and Drama</strong>.</li> <li>Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that develop students’&nbsp;essential knowledge and skills</li> <li>Proven capacity to create safe, supportive and well-managed practical learning environments that foster creativity, collaboration and student confidence in Dance and Drama, while differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs of primary students.</li> </ul> <p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p> <ul> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.</li> <li>Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with <strong>To Work, Teach and Lead</strong> policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p><strong>Closing Date: 25 February 2026 at 11.55pm&nbsp;</strong></p>
