Food Design Assistant Ongoing – 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (school term weeks only) Commencing as soon as possible

<p>Concordia College, Highgate, SA is seeking to appoint a Food Design Assistant.</p> <p>The Concordia Campus is home to a vibrant and creative Food Design Centre, delivering the Food Design curriculum to students in Years 7–12. The Centre is staffed by a team of Food Design Teachers, supported by two Food Design Assistants.</p> <p>Food Design Assistants are responsible for managing food orders, preparing ingredients for lessons, overseeing stock control, and ensuring the Centre is maintained in a safe and orderly manner. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to plan ahead effectively.</p> <p>Concordia College expects the Food Design Assistant to actively support the Christian ethos of the College and to model positive values within a Christian school environment. The successful applicant will work collaboratively as part of a team, providing professional, courteous and efficient administrative support to meet College needs.</p> <p>This position is for 20 hours per school week, with a portion of these hours negotiated with the Food Design Key Teacher to align with the timetable. The remaining hours will be allocated to general housekeeping and catering duties.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be experience with Microsoft suite of software and SEQTA (school student management system), with proficient written and interpersonal communication skills.&nbsp;</p> <p>Experience working within a school context is highly desirable.</p> <p>Additional hours assisting with after-hours events will be available for the right candidate. These hours would be negotiated in advance and paid on a casual basis</p>
