<p>Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) is currently seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Technical Analyst</strong>&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;innovative&nbsp;<strong>Digital Enablement team</strong>,&nbsp;playing a key role in&nbsp;creating and&nbsp;analysing systems, data flows, and operational processes that support learning and innovation across&nbsp;<strong>45 Catholic primary and secondary schools, our head office, and broader technology ecosystem.</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Based primarily on-site at the Caroline Chisholm Centre, Pennant Hills, this role focuses on designing and implementing smart, sustainable solutions that improve reliability, enhance data quality, and reduce manual effort through automation. This includes membership to Fitness Passport for eligible employees.</li> </ul> <p>This is a <strong>permanent, full-time </strong>role based at our head office in Pennant Hills, with the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week &amp; will need to occasionally attend to schools as required.</p> <p><strong>Salary:&nbsp;</strong>Circa: $132K + super</p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Analyse IT systems and workflows to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;issues, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Develop and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;automation workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, or similar platforms.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Write scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline repetitive tasks, improve system reliability, and support school IT operations.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Automate user provisioning, reporting, and data synchronisation across systems where&nbsp;appropriate.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Creates and&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;a suite of process and procedural documentation for both business and technical users, including the development of online training materials (where&nbsp;appropriate).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Troubleshoot technical problems across hardware, software, cloud services, and school applications.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Assist with incident and request management in line with ITIL practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Support IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Conduct testing and validation of new features, integrations, and releases.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and reports, adhering to relevant privacy legislation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Work collaboratively with school leaders and head office staff to understand needs and provide solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;As a CSBB employee, contributes to the shared responsibility of safeguarding students, ensuring professional boundaries, and upholding duty of care legislative requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Perform any other tasks as required by the DE Technology Lead.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Specific Criteria:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years technical analysis/automation experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or other to support system maintenance, reporting, and user lifecycle management.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience developing automation workflows using Power Automate, Logic Apps, or similar tools to streamline administrative and operational processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Teams,&nbsp;SharePoint&nbsp;and Entra ID.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working in an ITIL aligned service desk with incident problem&nbsp;and change management processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with date integration or synchronisation tasks between systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience&nbsp;participating&nbsp;in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or&nbsp;new technology&nbsp;rollouts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced working in an Agile project environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to balance both business and technical requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Has the ability to analyse data and translate into process documentation and recommendations for change and improvement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven experience managing competing priorities both individually and as part of a team to deliver high quality&nbsp;</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained in related discipline through any combination of education,&nbsp;training&nbsp;and/or experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Industry certifications (desirable): Microsoft, ITIL, automation or scripting related credentials.&nbsp;</li> <li>Valid Working with Children Check.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Us&nbsp;</strong><br> &nbsp;<br> We are Catholic Schools Broken Bay, a vibrant and enriching learning environment that spans the Central Coast, Sydney's Northern Beaches and the North Shore.
