Founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1858, and now under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries, we are a dynamic learning community, cherishing our Catholic heritage and fostering creativity, courage, discernment and leadership in young women.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will have</p> <ul> <li>strong instructional leadership, with a deep understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and pedagogical best practice in Health and Physical Education</li> <li>skills in&nbsp; Strategic Curriculum and Assessment Design</li> <li>capacity to lead a collaborative and high-functioning team culture. They demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead staff with varying levels of experience</li> <li>shows a strong commitment to student wellbeing, engagement, and equity</li> <li>Organisational and Operational Effectiveness</li> <li>experience in using qualitative and quantitative data to inform departmental planning and improvement.&nbsp;</li> <li>strong communication skills, able to engage professionally with staff, students, parents, and school leadership</li> <li>a commitment to ongoing professional learning, staying informed about current research in physical education, wellbeing, and leadership.&nbsp;</li> <li>experience and expertise in teaching across a range of stages and courses</li> <li>a desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and in integrating evidence-based practices in the classroom.
