<p>Eastside Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join our vibrant learning community, commencing Term 1 2026. This role involves teaching Music across both Primary and Secondary year levels and contributing to the rich musical and cultural life of the College.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will deliver engaging and inclusive Music programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and the values of the College. The role includes classroom teaching across Primary and Secondary, as well as involvement in co-curricular music activities, ensembles, performances, and College events.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Teach Music across Primary and Secondary year levels</li> <li>Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons</li> <li>Assess and report on student learning</li> <li>Contribute to ensembles, performances, and College events</li> <li>Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment</li> <li>Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College</li> <li>Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and some non-term time activities as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will have:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Music and Education</li> <li>Eligibility for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania (TRB)</li> <li>Experience and confidence teaching Music across a range of year levels</li> <li>Strong classroom management and communication skills</li> <li>A commitment to professional learning and reflective practice</li> <li>An ability to support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of a Lutheran school</li> <li>Experience in instrumental music instruction, ensemble direction, or co-curricular music programs will be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p>Eastside Lutheran College is committed to child safety and the wellbeing of all students.
