<p>Wenona is seeking a dynamic and passionate Clarinet/Saxophone Peripatetic to join our school’s outstanding Performing Arts faculty based in North Sydney. You will inspire our young women through dynamic teaching practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.</p> <p>Wenona aims to encourage, challenge, extend and nurture each student in a way that allows her to achieve her full potential. To achieve this, Wenona prides itself on attracting intelligent, inspiring and motivated employees who serve to role model strong, positive relationships and is committed to fostering an environment where all staff are passionate about refining their skills and pursuing a love of learning.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Teaching weekly private clarinet/saxophone lessons to students from Junior to Senior School age</li> <li>Excellent technical skills in playing and pedagogical knowledge of the Clarinet/Saxophone</li> <li>Ability to teach and manage behaviour of students from both Junior and Senior School</li> <li>Excellent communication and organisational skills</li> <li>Before school, during and after-school teaching times, depending on both tutor availability and allocation of students</li> <li>Delivering at least one Studio Concert a year.</li> </ul> <p>This is a casual position commencing Term 1, 2026.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will be a clarinet/saxophone teacher who has experience teaching private lessons to students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in a school setting. You will also have had experience in teaching and facilitating small group lessons from beginner to intermediate level. You will be resilient and adaptable to changing demands, as expected in a busy school environment.
