<p><strong>All Applicants must:</strong></p> <p>Be strongly committed to the Catholic Faith.</p> <p>Understand and support the Catholic ethos and the vision of the school.</p> <p>Be familiar with all policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.</p> <p>Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents.</p> <p>Work with the principal and other staff to promote the continuous improvement of the school.</p> <p>Share highly developed digital technologies skills.</p> <p>Be strongly committed to working collaboratively with other staff members.</p> <p>Understand a student’s identified learning difficulties and offering assistance in the classroom.</p> <p>Work with the student’s teacher by actively participating in activities, assisting, intervening and encouraging students and, where appropriate, providing 1:1 instructive support.</p> <p>Lead small group instruction designed by the teacher in the classroom.</p> <p>Adapt lessons for individual students, under the guidance of the class teacher.</p> <p>Assist students to deal with adjusted curriculum where necessary under the guidance of the class teacher and the Diversity Leader, Wellbeing Leader and Learning and Teaching Leader.</p> <p>Work with students, under the direction of a teacher, to support the implementation of particular learning goals as identified in the Personalised Learning Plan.</p> <p>Yard supervision and first aid duty.</p> <p>Facilitate social interaction, promoting independence and assisting students with their personal organisation when required.</p> <p>Please see the attached role description for more information.&nbsp;</p>

Empathy, understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity is critical.
