<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Holy Innocents' Catholic Primary School, Croydon and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Mosman<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> Term 1, 2026&nbsp;<br><strong>Application Closing Date:</strong> Wednesday, 17 December 2025<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Part-Time (0.6 FTE), Temporary (12 months)<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br> The Arrowsmith Program Coordinator is responsible for the promotion, implementation, and monitoring of the Arrowsmith Program, supporting students with specific learning disorders. This position provides leadership in the delivery of the program across two Primary school sites.&nbsp;<br><br> Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>leading and overseeing the Arrowsmith Program across two school sites, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement</li> <li>recruiting, developing and supporting Teachers and Learning Support Officers, including performance management and mentoring</li> <li>fostering a collaborative learning culture focused on quality teaching and student outcomes</li> <li>coordinating assessments, data analysis, and personalised learning plans to monitor progress and enhance student engagement</li> <li>liaising with Arrowsmith Canada and senior leaders to align program elements with emerging research and best practice</li> <li>managing program operations including finance, compliance (NCCD data), consumables and communication with parents and carers</li> <li>promoting the program across schools and directorates to strengthen awareness and impact.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br> The role requires a high level of organisational oversight, program management, and collaboration with school leadership to ensure the effective integration of the Arrowsmith Program within each educational setting. We are seeking a caring, professional candidate with the following experience, skills and knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>university degree in Education or Teaching and current NESA accreditation</li> <li>meeting all aspects of the proficient teacher in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and operating at the level of a highly accomplished/lead teacher in accordance with the NESA teaching standards (although they may not formally hold this accreditation)</li> <li>a minimum of 5 years experience teaching in primary or secondary settings</li> <li>experience in leading a multi-disciplined team and staff in professional learning</li> <li>demonstrated experience in improving student outcomes and implementing school-wide initiatives</li> <li>the ability to articulate contemporary educational trends in both local and international contexts</li> <li>proven high-level written, oral and presentation skills</li> <li>a willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools</li> <li>a current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle.</li> </ul> <p>Desirable:</p> <ul> <li>postgraduate degree in Special Education</li> <li>5 years of middle leadership experience in a school</li> <li>knowledge of and experience with the Arrowsmith Program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br> Joining <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/">Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS)</a> means being part of NSW's largest Catholic education community, with over 145 schools and 74,000 students.
