Frensham Junior School is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.4 FTE) Teacher’s Aide from Term 1, 2026 (term-time only).

They are taught to value kindness, resilience, empathy and compassion, and to carry these attributes with them for life, alongside the School’s core values.</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>Frensham Junior School is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.4 FTE) <strong>Teacher’s Aide</strong> from Term 1, 2026 (term-time only).</p> <p>The successful candidates will be suitably qualified and experienced, with training and expertise in working with students with a range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs. They will have the capacity to:</p> <ul> <li>Work a combination of full days and half days across the week (preferred and by negotiation)</li> <li>Implement 1 to 1 and small group interventions&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist teachers with in-class support programs</li> <li>Co-supervise playground duties and provide support to students on the playground</li> <li>Work with relevant staff to implement and maintain learning support plans and documentation.</li> </ul> <p>Salary is in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.</p> <p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Certificate III or IV in Education Support and prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teacher’s Aide.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with students who have special learning and/or support requirements (which may be academic, social/emotional or behavioural).</li> <li>Experience with MultiLit intervention programs preferred.</li> <li>Ability to manage sensitive information discretely and maintain confidentiality at all times.</li> <li>An awareness of the types and levels of adjustments provided within schools.</li> <li>A calm, nurturing and supportive manner in all interactions with students and parents.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working as a team with the ability to be supportive, build connections and encourage others.</li> <li>Strong computer literacy and confidence in the use of technology.</li> <li>Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.</li> <li>Commitment to the values and ethos of Frensham Schools.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Commencement:</strong> Term 1, 2026</p> <p><i>All staff at Frensham Schools take an active role in ensuring our Child Protection programs, policies and processes are at the forefront of all that we do.
