<p><strong>Diverse Learning Teacher – Junior School</strong></p>
<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking an innovative and passionate Diverse Learning Teacher to commence in Term I 2026 in a part-time capacity. This newly created position within the College’s Learning Enrichment faculty of our Junior School offers an excellent opportunity for both recently qualified teachers and experienced educators looking to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.</p>
<p>This role will be responsible for creating a dynamic and stimulating learning environment, through the development and implementation of contemporary strategies and programs, to challenge and support students across Years 3-6 with diverse learning needs to achieve their full potential.</p>
<p>As a primary school Diverse Learning specialist, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience in diverse learning education and the ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and key stakeholders in order to support students learning needs. The successful candidate will exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for education and a steadfast dedication to each student’s development and wellbeing, while nurturing their confidence and ability to work independently.</p>
<p>This role reports directly to the Head of Junior School, as well as, works collaboratively with the Dean of Academic Services. This position will be offered on an ongoing part-time basis, working across two to three (0.4FTE to 0.6FTE) days per week. The loading and the working days will be negotiable with the successful candidate.</p>

<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>Possess appropriate Primary School teaching qualifications and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NSW legislation and College policy;</li>
<li>Possess relevant qualifications in diverse learning;</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience to develop and implement dynamic and effective teaching programs for students with additional learning enrichment or support needs in conjunction with regular classroom teachers;</li>
<li>Knowledge of administration requirements pertaining to National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and NESA Disability Provisions;</li>
<li>Possess highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders (parents, students, staff);</li>
<li>Demonstrated excellent organisational and administrative skills in relation to the application for disability provisions;</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the use of data to analyse, inform, develop and manage students’ individual plans;</li>
<li>Significant competency in the use of ICT and its integration into the curriculum;</li>
<li>Demonstrated willingness to become involved in the College’s co-curricular activities;</li>
<li>High level of written and verbal communication skills;</li>
<li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li>
