MacKillop Catholic College is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the College’s ICT function, manage a skilled IT team, and ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with teaching, learning, and administrative needs. Our college community is built on strong values, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to reach their full potential.&nbsp;</p> <p>MacKillop Catholic College is seeking an experienced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Manager to lead and manage the College’s technology environment as part of the Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) ICT team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership in a school setting.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the CET Chief Information Officer, you will ensure the College’s ICT infrastructure, systems and support services are reliable, secure and aligned with CET strategies and compliance requirements. You will lead the College ICT team, support the Principal and Business Manager, and contribute to CET-wide ICT planning and initiatives.</p> <ul> <li>Provide ICT leadership and operational management for the College.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop ICT plans that support learning, teaching, wellbeing and business goals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee service delivery and ensure responsive, customer-focused support.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage ICT projects and drive continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with privacy, security and child safety requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong><br> You are a collaborative leader with strong technical skills and a commitment to Catholic Education values. You bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing ICT environments in schools or similar organisations.</li> <li>Expertise with Microsoft and Google Suite technologies and network infrastructure.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead technical staff and manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li> <li>Tertiary qualification in ICT or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People registration and National Police Check.</li> </ul> <p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p> <p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
