The successful applicant will need to be flexible, being able to work with a variety of students and staff. They need to have a passion for working with children with diverse needs, having a belief that all children can learn and succeed.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>have knowledge and skills suited to working with students with diverse needs (recent experience and/or qualification in this area required)</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.</li> <li>be dedicated to catering for the individual needs of students in a school wide positive behaviour for learning environment.</li> <li>be committed to building authentic relationships with all children, families and staff.</li> <li>committed to upholding the SMCM Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct</li> <li>Hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check</li> </ul> <p>This is a 12 month fixed term position. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 3:25 pm.
