St Thomas the Apostle School Blackburn is seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Diversity Leader (0.2) joined with roles of potentially a Literacy Leader (0.16) and classroom teaching position 1 day (0.2 FTE). The Literacy Leader position would be a POL 1.

<p>The time allocation and roles of this position can be negotiated.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant would be a valued member of staff and be a real contributor to the life of our school and make a difference in the learning life of our students particularly those students with additional needs. They will play a key leadership role in fostering an inclusive and personalised learning environment across the school.</p> <p>The successful applicant will need to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead staff in writing PLPs with SMART goals, and in keeping required documentation records for NCCD</li> <li>Foster and develop professional relationships with students, staff and parents</li> <li>Work collaboratively with MACS staff and external allied health professionals, as required&nbsp;</li> <li>Work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team</li> <li>Lead staff in supporting and extending their students</li> <li>Be aware of the MACS 2030 Vision and 'Vision for Learning' framework</li> <li>Have knowledge of Explicit Instruction and of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0&nbsp;</li> <li>Have a deep understanding of assessment tools and analysis of these</li> </ul> <p>St Thomas the Apostle School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements </strong>-</p> <ul> <li>Current VIT registration</li> <li>An understanding of and commitment to the Child Safety Standards in accordance with the Victorian Government's Ministerial Order No. 1379</li> </ul>
