<p>Applications are invited for the following ongoing positions at St Ita’s Catholic Primary School, Drouin, commencing Tuesday 27th January, 2026 :</p> <p>ESO - Learning Support - FTE 0.83 - 5 days per week, 8.45am - 3.30pm</p> <p>The successful applicant will:<br> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; be supportive of the Catholic Ethos</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; be responsible for providing physical, emotional and educational support to students with special needs in various levels throughout the school</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; assist students in specified learning areas and tasks, either individually or in a group</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; be confident in using de-escalation stategies when required</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; support social interaction and development with children at recess and lunch</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; possess very good interpersonal and organisational skills</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; have the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; have a current Working with Children Check</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; hold a Certificate / Diploma in Education Support</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; supply contact details of three referees.</li> </ul> <p>This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.<br> &nbsp;</p>
