Woodcroft College is seeking a Productive Garden Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of the school’s productive garden program. The role contributes to hands-on learning experiences that promote sustainability, environmental awareness, and student wellbeing.

<p><strong>About the role</strong><br> Commencing&nbsp;January 2026<br> Permanent Part Time (33 hours per week/40 weeks per year)<br> Some casual term break hours will be required, by negotiation</p> <p>Woodcroft College is seeking a Productive Garden Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of the school’s productive garden program. The role contributes to hands-on learning experiences that promote sustainability, environmental awareness, and student wellbeing.</p> <p><strong>All applications must be submitted via our website: </strong><a href="http://www.woodcroft.sa.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow"><strong>http://www.woodcroft.sa.edu.au/employment</strong></a><strong>&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Any applications sent via this website may not be considered.</strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with the care, upkeep, and seasonal planning of the Productive Garden, including the Butterfly Garden and nature trails.</li> <li>Support the delivery of age-appropriate, garden-based learning activities for students (eg growing produce, recycling and environmental science), in collaboration with classroom teachers.</li> <li>Provide assistance with coordinating garden volunteers.</li> <li>Oversee fundraising opportunities.</li> <li>Participating in school events, professional development opportunities and other extracurricular activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Extensive horticultural experience in a commercial, domestic or educational environment.</li> <li>Ability to impart knowledge to Primary school-age students.</li> <li>Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College.</li> <li>Ability to work as part of a team.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Horticultural qualifications will be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p>Please note: This position is only open to applicants with current, unrestricted work rights in Australia.
