Resurrection Catholic Primary School requires a Speech Pathologist 2 days per week.

<p><strong>Resurrection Catholic Primary School&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Speech Pathologist - 2 Days Per Week</p> <p><strong>Type of Employment</strong>: Initial 12 moth contract with the possibility of ongoing work</p> <p><strong>Applications Close</strong>&nbsp;Friday November 14&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct relevant Speech Pathology assessments such as the CELF-5 and prep screeners</li> <li>Complete classroom observations in conjunction with the school counsellor and provide feedback to the Student Services team&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide either individual or small group therapy sessions</li> <li>Build the capacity of teachers and learning support officers to support the language development of students</li> <li>Build the capacity of parents to support the development of their children at home</li> <li>Participate in the development of Personalised Learning Plans and attend relevant parent meetings based around this&nbsp;</li> <li>To be an active member of the Student Services team which includes the Principal, Learning Diversity Leader, Student Wellbeing Leader and Counsellor&nbsp;</li> <li>Other duties as directed by the Principal or Learning Diversity&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology</li> <li>A strong commitment to Catholic Education</li> <li>Experience in delivering speech therapy to primary school aged children</li> <li>An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues</li> <li>An ability to work collaboratively as a member of a supportive Student Services Team&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in providing Speech Pathology services for neurodiverse students</li> <li>Skills across a wide range of tasks including assessments, planning, intervention, report writing and resource preparation</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning and the capacity to reflect critically upon professional practice.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
