<p>St Richard's is one of two Catholic Primary Schools in the Parish of Mooroolbark. St Richard’s is focused towards improving the learning standards for all our students. Graduates are encouraged to apply.</p> <p><strong>Role Description</strong></p> <p>Applicants must:</p> <p>Have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic identity of the school</p> <p>Be innovative, enthusiastic and collaborative with a strong focus on the science of learning to ensure high student outcomes</p> <p>Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the Visions for Instruction and Engagement</p> <p>Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the Science of Learning and how this impacts student outcomes</p> <p>Display an enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum to support student learning</p> <p>Demonstrate an ability to create a collaborative learning environment that educates, challenges and engages</p> <p>Have an understanding of Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) and the implementation of this to create safe and effective teaching and learning environments</p> <p>Be willing to participate in and teach Italian in our ‘Teachers as co-learners’ languages program</p> <p>Demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues</p> <p>Provide students with a child-safe environment</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <p>Possess VIT registration</p> <p>Be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or be in the process of obtaining this).</p> <p>Be familiar and comply with all requirements of Child Safety, policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.</p> <p>St Richard's has a commitment to child safe practices and zero tolerance for abuse.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
