<p>Emmaus Christian College is a multi-campus, non-denominational school, providing quality, distinctly Christian education from ELC to Year 12.</p>

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>As delegated by the Director, lead the implementation of the ELC’s curriculum in consultation with the Educational Leader.</li>
<li>As delegated by the Director, mentor and support colleagues towards achieving strategic objectives.</li>
<li>As delegated by the Director, work closely with the Educational Leader/Room Leader and Team to assess children and evaluate learning.</li>
<li>Collaborate and communicate with parents/families.</li>
<li>Plan, prepare and implement appropriate learning programs and environments for children, guiding professional practice based on Australian EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework).</li>
<li>Work within a legal and ethical framework, based on NQS and national regulations.</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings, taking an active part in critical reflections about professional practice, pedagogical strategies, ELC philosophy and curriculum, QIP, children’s learning and development, and the Planning and Assessment Cycle.</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li>
<li>Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education.</li>
<li>Commitment to the Christian ethos of the College and the Statement of Faith.</li>
<li>A personal commitment to the Emmaus Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian based education to children.</li>
<li>Diploma in Children’s Services approved by ACECQA (or working towards).</li>
<li>Understanding and knowledge of the standards set by the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework.</li>
<li>Ability to cope effectively under pressure in an emergency or stressful situation.</li>
<li>Thorough understanding and implementation of a play-based curriculum.</li>
<li>Competent computer skills to manage documentation, learning resources and use of technology tools to support learning.</li>
<li>Behaviour management skills, reflecting restorative practices and the ability to develop and demonstrate positive behaviour strategies and support children’s learning.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.</li>
<li>Valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and Senior First Aid certification (incl. CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma).</li>
