<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>Westminster School is seeking an outstanding educator to take up the leadership role of Deputy Head of Preparatory School: Teaching and Learning. This strategic position supports the Head of Preparatory School and collaborates with the Director of Learning and Director of Teaching to lead curriculum development, teaching excellence, and student outcomes across Transition to Year 6.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>
• Lead and mentor curriculum leaders and educators to improve teaching and learning outcomes.<br>
• Support daily operations including discipline, compliance, and policy implementation.<br>
• Drive innovation in Adventurous Learning and the Capability Compass.<br>
• Oversee assessment, reporting, and learning management systems.<br>
• Guide professional development and reflective teaching practices.<br>
• Represent the Preparatory School in community outreach and public relations.<br>
• Deputise for the Head of Preparatory School as required.</p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You will inspire and guide staff, support student development, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive school culture. <br>
A relational and strategic leader you will have:<br><br>
• Proven experience in school leadership and curriculum oversight.<br>
• Deep understanding of pedagogy and student wellbeing.<br>
• Ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and families.<br>
• Accreditation as a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher (or working toward it).<br>
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation.</p>
