We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher, who will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Teach Mathematics across the Secondary School (Years 7-12).</li> <li>Provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students.</li> <li>Work cooperatively with colleagues in a team setting providing a curriculum which is challenging and engaging for students.</li> <li>Work in collaboration with other staff to ensure a distinctive Christian education by motivating, inspiring and aligning practice with the College Vision, Mission and Values.</li> <li>Encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged.</li> <li>Support and encourage a strong sense of community in the College.</li> <li>Teach other classes across the Secondary School at the direction of the Line Manager or Head of School as required.</li> </ul> <p>For further information regarding the position and other responsibilities of the role, please view the full position description available on our website at<a href="https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment" rel="nofollow">&nbsp;<u>https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</u></a>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li> <li>Demonstrated passion for Biblically-based Christian education.</li> <li>An appropriate qualification in Teacher Education, ideally with a major in Mathematics.</li> <li>The ability to teach Physics or Digital technology is beneficial.</li> <li>Demonstrated passion and ability to teach Mathematics to students across Years 7-12. experience in SACE Mathematics subjects is preferred.</li> <li>A demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management.</li> <li>Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>At Emmaus Christian College, we value our employees beyond the workplace.
