St Monica's College is currently accepting applications for a Curriculum Middle Leader: Science on (1 year fixed-term contract). Two (2) further three (3) year appointments will be made subject to a satisfactory performance review at the conclusion of the initial one (1) year middle leader contract. This position holds a substantive Permanent Teaching position with the Diocese of Cairns.
<p>The role of the Curriculum Middle Leader: Science is to support the mission of the college through leadership founded on a commitment to the provision of quality education for all students.</p>
<p>This involves:</p>
<ul>
<li>Developing appropriate curriculum in line with national, state and local requirements</li>
<li>Ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels</li>
<li>Ensuring the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision</li>
<li>Utilising through analysis of current data to inform decision</li>
<li>Developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the college</li>
<li>Prudently administering available resources</li>
</ul>
