Religious Education Coordinator

<p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>
<p>The Religious Education Coordinator, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, provides spiritual and educational leadership by embedding Catholic perspectives across the curriculum, leading the Religious Education program, supporting and building staff capacity, promoting professional learning, collaborating with the parish community, and fostering a Christ-centred faith environment.<i> </i></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching</li>
<li>Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)</li>
<li>Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation</li>
</ul>
<p><i>To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must: </i></p>
<ul>
<li>Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community</li>
<li>Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience</li>
<li><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/832/ClientPublicFile/526f4f4d-e4cc-4d5e-9228-e0437a315617.docx">Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest</a>; and </li>
<li>Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy. </li>
