King’s Baptist Grammar School is excited to announce the creation of five new leadership roles within our Middle and Senior Schools. These Positions of Responsibility (POR) form a collaborative Curriculum and Pedagogy Team, guiding innovation and excellence in teaching and learning across Years 6–12.

<p><strong>Permanent Teaching Roles with Fixed-Term Leadership Appointments</strong><br><strong>Commencing 2026 | Wynn Vale Campus</strong></p> <p>We are seeking creative and collaborative Teachers who are passionate about student-centred pedagogy and committed to coaching and mentoring others. These roles offer dedicated release time to support individual staff and small teams in enhancing all aspects of teaching and learning.</p> <p><strong>Available Roles</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leader of Engagement</li> <li>Leader of Enrichment and Inclusion</li> <li>Leader of Excellence and Innovation</li> <li>Leader of Data and Analytics</li> <li>Leader of Professional Practice</li> </ul> <p>Each role includes a specific portfolio focus and contributes to the broader strategic direction of curriculum development through a pedagogical lens.</p> <p><strong>About the Environment at King’s</strong></p> <p>King’s Baptist Grammar School (King’s) is a place where every student is seen, heard, known and feels a sense of love. A strong partnership between educators, students, and families fosters a culture of mutual support, curiosity, and growth.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities Across All Roles</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coach individuals and teams to deliver student-centred pedagogy.</li> <li>Drive curriculum innovation and improvement.</li> <li>Support the use of the Learning Management System for planning, facilitation, and assessment.</li> <li>Establish accountable structures for program monitoring, assessment, and reporting.</li> <li>Embrace technology to enhance educational outcomes.</li> <li>Collaborate with Early Years and Junior School leaders to ensure inclusive, seamless learning transitions.</li> <li>Support fellow leaders in achieving portfolio-specific goals.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <p>A personal commitment to King's Purpose, Vision, Mission and Leadership Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School community is essential to a teaching role at King's.</p> <ul> <li>Experienced Teachers with a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or higher.</li> <li>Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead, coach, and collaborate effectively.</li> <li>Has demonstrated capacity to meet the standards of a Lead Teacher.</li> <li>A passion for professional learning and curriculum development.</li> <li>A willingness to embrace King's School Wide Pedagogy.</li> <li>Willingness to undertake Growth Coaching training (if not already completed).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Terms of Appointment</strong></p> <p>These leadership roles are fixed-term appointments for three years, underpinned by a permanent teaching position at King’s. Each role attracts a POR Level 2 allowance and includes release time to support leadership responsibilities.
