<p>Waverley College invites applications for a positive and enthusiastic Learning Support Teacher to commence on <strong>Monday, 26 August to Friday, 26 September 2025</strong>.</p> <p>The main focus of this Learning Support role involves supporting Stage 4 students and assisting with Stage 4 to Stage 6 exams.</p> <p>Applicants must be experienced, innovative practitioners, have demonstrable ICT skills, be supportive of the ethos of the College and be willing to participate in the co-curricular life of the College which supports student wellbeing.</p> <p>Duties include, but are not limited to team teaching, individual and group support in mainstream classrooms, small group teaching, exam invigilation, as well as other various related administrative duties.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, flexible and responsive to the needs of students and colleagues in a range of learning settings.</p> <p>The successful candidate will embrace student diversity; they will be supportive and skilled in implementation of positive interventions with students with disabilities and mental health conditions, including ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety and a range of other conditions.</p> <p>Direct Instruction instruction experience is preferred, but not essential.
