We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join Endeavour College to have a positive impact leading the team into the future.

Our mission - 'A Christian environment for each student and staff member to develop their God-given abilities for LIFE and community'.</p> <p>Our College values of LOVE, COURAGE, FORGIVENESS, and HOPE are upheld through application of The Endeavour Way,&nbsp;and our community values staff&nbsp;who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is&nbsp;based on caring relationships.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The Finance Manager is responsible for contributing to the mission and strategic goals of Endeavour College by providing leadership and direction in the planning, design, and implementation of financial systems, controls and&nbsp;processes.&nbsp; They&nbsp;will&nbsp;determine&nbsp;the methods,&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;required&nbsp;to&nbsp;achieve&nbsp;specified&nbsp;outcomes, meet&nbsp;the&nbsp;statutory&nbsp;and&nbsp;financial&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;of&nbsp;Endeavour&nbsp;College’s&nbsp;stakeholders&nbsp;and&nbsp;regulatory&nbsp;bodies,&nbsp;lead&nbsp;a&nbsp;high performing team to deliver a comprehensive financial service, and provide support and assistance to the Business Manager as needed.</p> <p><strong>You must have the following:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications ie Accounting, Financial Management, Chartered Accounting or CPA</li> <li>Current and clearance, Working With Children Check (WWCC)</li> <li>Current mandatory reporting certificate (Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)</li> <li>Active member of a relevant professional association or committees</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>You are highly organised, have excellent communications skills and have an ability to build strong relationships with a collaborative environment.&nbsp; You have a strong understanding, experience and communicating the management of financial policies, financial reporting, budgetary, analytics, cost control, best practice principles processes and positive engagement with people from a wide range of backgrounds.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>You will be required to positively lead the Finance team by applying your skills and knowledge with a problem solving and solution focused outcome whilst striving for continuous improvement.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Successful applicants can expect:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to make a real difference with the families and community of Endeavour College</li> <li>A caring and supportive Christian community environment</li> <li>Supportive leadership, and a collaborative team environment</li> <li>To be a positive and&nbsp;significant role model&nbsp;for all of Endeavour College</li> </ul> <p>We look forward to appointing a talented and motivated individual to join our College community.
