About PARED Victoria PARED Victoria established Harkaway Hills College in 2016, and in 2022, welcomed Lysterfield Lake College as the latest school to join the Foundation. Lysterfield Lake College is a new independent Catholic school for boys, currently offering education from Year 3 to 8 (as of 2025) and will continue to expand by adding one year level each year, up to Year 12.

The successful candidate will be organised and hard-working and will have excellent interpersonal skills. They must also have a comprehensive knowledge of Design, Technology and Art at the Secondary School level; junior and senior marking experience is valued, and the ability to teach VCE is favourable.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning programs that reflect sound pedagogical practice and are aligned with curriculum standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Design and differentiate learning experiences to meet the needs of individual students.&nbsp;</li> <li>Apply a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform future instruction.&nbsp;</li> <li>Integrate relevant technologies and tools into teaching practice to enhance student engagement and learning.&nbsp;</li> <li>Foster a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and character development.&nbsp;</li> <li>Model the school’s values and approach to character education.&nbsp;</li> <li>Plan, evaluate, and improve teaching programs, curriculum content, and assessment tasks.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, assessment, and curriculum delivery.&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate effectively with each student’s parents, mentor, and teacher(s) to support the holistic development of each student.&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to curriculum review and innovation, including the development of new units or programs aligned with relevant subject area outcomes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate actively in co-curricular and enrichment programs, including lunchtime clubs, excursions, camps, and school events.&nbsp;</li> <li>Care for and maintain the learning environment and specialist equipment in workshops or maker spaces, ensuring safety and functionality.&nbsp;</li> <li>Engage in ongoing professional learning, including attendance at staff development days and relevant external training.&nbsp;</li> <li>Attend and contribute to key school functions, including Key Parent Functions and major community events.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>PARED Victoria is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
