<p>We are seeking a suitably experienced Canteen Manager to join our staff.<br><br> This position is responsible for supporting the operations of the school canteen, including preparing and serving food, managing lunch orders, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards and operating sales systems.</p> <p>Applications are invited for this part-time, ongoing position of Canteen Manager to commence on 18 August 2025. <strong>The part-time role is 2 days per week, 9.00am-3.50pm (FTE 0.32).</strong> The position is classified in accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.</p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Have previous experience working in a similar food service or canteen environment.</li> <li>Have an understanding of current Food Handling and Food Safety requirements.</li> <li>Possess the ability to work effectively and meet short turn around times.</li> <li>Display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with staff, students and suppliers.</li> <li>Have good communication skills, both verbal and written.</li> <li>Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment for yourself and others and comply with all Occupation Health and Safety (OH&amp;S) standards and safe work policies and procedures and all policies as outlined in the Staff Handbook</li> </ul> <p>The Canteen Manager for St Therese’s must hold the following:</p> <p><strong>Food Safety Supervisor</strong></p> <ul> <li>SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices (Level 2)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety</li> </ul> <p><strong>First Aid Certificate</strong></p> <ul> <li>HLTAID011 Provide First Aid</li> </ul> <p><strong>Working With Children Check</strong></p> <p><strong>National Police Check</strong></p> <p>St Therese's Primary School is a child safe school and as such, complies with all aspects and legal obligations that relate to the Child Safe Standards, committing to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children in our care.</p> <p>The interview process may commence prior to the closing date and, if a suitable candidate is found, the role may close early.
