We are seeking an experienced Chemistry teacher for Years 7-10.
<p><i>St Aloysius’ College (the College) is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p><strong>Chemistry Teacher</strong></p>
<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, passionate, and suitably qualified <strong>Chemistry Teacher</strong> to join our Science Faculty on a full-time ongoing basis, commencing in <strong>Term 4, 2025</strong>.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject expertise and a commitment to academic excellence, integrating innovative pedagogy and contemporary teaching practices that both support and challenge students to reach their potential.</p>
<p>With a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, the successful applicant will work closely with colleagues in the development and delivery of engaging teaching programs and learning experiences, contributing to improved student outcomes and the continued success of the Science Faculty.</p>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>An understanding of the educational needs of boys and young men;</li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom environment that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students; </li>
<li>Demonstrated excellence in teaching Science 7-10, with experience teaching Chemistry essential;</li>
<li>Proven ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes</li>
<li>Proven ability to ensure teaching and learning activities reflect contemporary pedagogy, including the ability to integrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning and differentiation strategies; </li>
<li>Understanding of, and ability to use data to analyse, report on and manage student progress, and to report to parents in a variety of ways that keep them regularly and fully informed of their children’s progress; </li>
<li>Strong commitment to safeguarding principles;</li>
