<p>St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school for Semester Two (Term 3 and 4) 2025. The successful applicant will be required to:</p> <ul> <li>support the Catholic ethos of the school</li> <li>display a strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum</li> <li>provide effective differentiated teaching using data in the key areas of English and Mathematics</li> <li>provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum.</li> <li>build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents</li> <li>work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams</li> <li>have highly effective organisational and communication skills</li> <li>be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement</li> <li>have a knowledge of assessment and data analysis</li> <li>design and implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child</li> <li>have a knowledge and/ or experience in explicit Instruction.</li> </ul> <p>St. Scholastica's is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <p>VIT registration</p> <p>Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.</p>
