St Kevin’s has developed a strong academic tradition where each boy is encouraged to take responsibility for his own learning in an environment that values knowledge and scholarship.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a qualified and experienced Grounds Person (Turf) to assist the team on a&nbsp;<strong>full time on going basis.</strong></p> <p>With previous experience in a similar role, you will work collaboratively within the Grounds team, to support the preparation, maintenance and presentation of the College ovals,&nbsp;gardens and grounds across all campuses.&nbsp;</p> <p>Based at&nbsp;the Heyington Campus the&nbsp;role will also assist with the setup of sports ovals and cricket wicket preparation. A certificate 3 in Horticulture –&nbsp;Turf&nbsp;and valid driver's licence is essential.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a Full-Time ongoing position commencing by the end of May, with hours&nbsp;<strong>6:45am -3:15pm with 1 RDO per month.</strong></p> <p><strong>About You&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>You have horticulture experience&nbsp;<strong>in Turf management&nbsp;</strong>and can confidently utilise equipment such as blowers, ride on mowers and cricket wicket rollers.</p> <ul> <li>Certificate 3 in Horticulture – Turf Management</li> <li>Experience as a Grounds person in a School or similar environment</li> <li>Experience in the use of grounds maintenance equipment</li> <li>Driver’s license</li> <li>Effective communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>To apply, please upload your cover letter and resume.
