Sacred Heart Girls' College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join the Education Support Team as Administration Assistant to the Principal.

<p>The Administration Assistant to the Principal provides administration assistance to the Principal’s office. The Administration Assistant to the Principal also provides human resources administration assistance to the Deputy Principal Staff.</p> <p>This position is part time (0.6 FTE) - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.00am-4.00pm.</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain confidentiality of various aspects of College operations including sensitive and personal information</li> <li>Create a welcoming atmosphere, receive and greet visitors as required</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to provide a high standard of administrative support to the Principal</li> <li>Provide administrative support to the Deputy Principal Staff.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE &amp; SKILLS</strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications &nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holding or working towards gaining certifications or qualifications in administration related fields.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working in an office environment as an Administration Assistant.</li> <li>Administration Assistant experience in a school would be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality and sensitivity.</li> <li>Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise.</li> <li>Professional level verbal and written (including proofreading) skills.</li> <li>Attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and patient.</li> <li>Ability to work as part of team.</li> <li>Proactive in anticipating the needs of others.</li> <li>Excellent administration skills.</li> <li>Excellent IT Skills including the following: <ul> <li>In-depth understanding of, and ability to use, MS Office suite, especially Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.</li> <li>Experience in digital file management (both network and cloud based).</li> </ul></li> </ul> <p>A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children, along with a willingness to be involved in the life of Sacred Heart Girls’ College is required.</p> <p>For more information, including the Position Description and Application Form, please visit the College's website - <a href="www.shgc.vic.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">www.shgc.vic.edu.au/employment&nbsp;</a></p> <p>All applications MUST be submitted through <a href="https://www.seek.com.au/job/83592125?ref=cm-ui" rel="nofollow">SEEK</a> and include:</p> <ul> <li>Current CV&nbsp;</li> <li>Cover Letter addressed to Acting Principal Julie Swanson <i><strong>and</strong></i> Application Form (<strong>submitted as one file</strong>)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applications close 4.00pm Wednesday 30 April 2025.</strong></p> <p>Applications will be processed as received and an appointment may be made prior to applications closing.</p> <p><i>Sacred Heart Girls' College is an equal opportunity employer that promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</i><br> &nbsp;</p>
