Prescott College is seeking a passionate educator to join our dynamic teaching team for Middle School English and Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) Term 2, 2025. An exciting opportunity for a creative and skilled teacher to inspire students in a supportive learning environment. Initial 1 FTE fixed-term contract offered for Term 2 with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Supportive of Christian values&nbsp;</li> <li>Qualified teacher with experience in English and AIF at the High School level&nbsp;</li> <li>Expertise in planning, preparing, and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the Australian and SACE curriculum&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to supporting students' academic and personal growth&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaboration with colleagues to foster a positive school culture&nbsp;</li> <li>Providing constructive feedback on student progress&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>IDEAL CANDIDATE</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to deliver high-quality Middle School English and Year 11 AIF lessons&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, SACE, or equivalent&nbsp;</li> <li>Talent for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively&nbsp;</li> </ul>
