This position is as Performing Arts teacher at St Michael's School, Ashburton - MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS, COMMENCING THE WEEK OF 12TH MAY, 2025

St Michael's Catholic Primary School, Ashburton, is seeking a highly motivated Performing Arts teacher to join our community for 0.4, replacement teaching position. The days of work will be Mondays and Tuesdays.

The successful applicant will:

  • enrich our students with an engaging and contemporary Performing Arts curriculum
  • actively work with our student, staff & parent community to ensue that the Performing Arts program has a strong presence in the culture of St Michael's School
  • provide an environment of inspiration, engagement, and enjoyment to the children in our care
  • model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up of families from diverse social backgrounds
  • have a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of Child Safety Standards
  • have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education
  • be registered with the VIT or hold Permission to Teach
