This is a ongoing casual teaching position with immediate start, ideal for educators who:

• Are available to teach after school hours and/or Saturdays
• Can build positive, respectful relationships with students while maintaining high academic expectations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured English lessons with a focus on writing, comprehension, and textual analysis
• Prepare students for school assessments using current techniques and terminology
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to our shared teaching resources

🙋 About You

You’re an excellent communicator and a dedicated teacher who:

• Holds current VIT registration
• Has at least 2 years’ experience teaching Secondary English (including VCE preferred)
• Is confident teaching textual response, persuasive, analytical, and creative writing
• Has strong content knowledge and a keen eye for detail in student work
• Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic about helping students succeed
• Holds full working rights in Australia
• Is available to work after hours and/or Saturdays
