Loreto Kirribilli is a Catholic K-12 Independent Girls’ School of approximately 1100 students with a strong academic tradition and commitment to pastoral care.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Library Assistant to work in our Senior School Library on a permanent, part-time basis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required with prior experience within an educational setting being advantageous.

The role is primarily Library based (during term-time) and works from 10:00am to 6:00pm, three days per week (being Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

• Professional and Operational Staff (PAOS) role
• Prior experience as a Library Assistant (School experience desirable)
• Knowledgeable with Library Management Systems (eg, Oliver)
• Experience with cataloguing and online cataloguing tools
• Ability to work collaboratively, be proactive and show initiative.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• High level attention to detail.
• Advanced MSOffice skills and confidence in learning new platforms.
