It is expected that the successful applicant will :

• develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
• have a working knowledge of the NCCD and how to effectively meet the requirements and evidence gathering required for funding
• an have an understanding of Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) ensuring safe and effective teaching and learning environments
• work effectively with school staff to support students who have additional learning needs to access learning through planned adjustments and/or learning programs
• organise and help to facilitate Program Support Group (PSG) meetings
• support staff in developing Personalised Learning Plans (PLP)
• maintain accurate records and tracking the progress of students with specific learning needs
• working collaboratively in a team to enhance the capacity of others through coaching

The successful applicant should:

• have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable
• be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
• have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
• hold a current VIT registration
