Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 18,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
About The Role
The Learning Partner plays a significant role in providing subject matter expertise to support school leaders and teachers in ensuring high quality Catholic education for Aboriginal students in CSBB schools.
This is a highly collaborative role within the Student Achievement team to build school-level capacity and develop an approach to Aboriginal education which is integrated into the CSBB approach to equity, diversity, and student engagement.
Further developing understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and culture within the Catholic tradition and educational mission of the Church in Broken Bay is a key focus.
As a specialised practitioner and coach, this role collaborates with school leadership and classroom teachers to create inclusive learning environments and ensure high quality education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
This is a permanent full-time role based at the CSBB head office in Pennant Hill.
