Position Highlights

We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and passionate Senior School Support Officer (Level 6 qualifications) to manage our school office. You will coordinate office administration, oversee finances and perform the higher-level office duties as directed by the School Principal. 

This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing on Monday, 28 April 2025.

About You

As the Senior School Support Officer (Level 6), you will provide a high-level of support to the Principal and leadership team. As an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St Aloysius Catholic Primary School Cronulla's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.

Your responsibilities include but are not be limited to:

• delivering high level administrative support to the Principal, school leadership team, teaching and support staff
• engaging in regular communications with the Principal and school community members on administrative systems, including work health and safety, finance, recruitment, staff development, maintenance of facilities, and coordinating work priorities in the school office
• managing financial administration
• overseeing site induction and maintaining health and safety systems and records
• efficiently managing registers
• exhibiting management prowess in administration, human resources, finance, school fees, office leadership, and other related reports for the Principal
• any other duties as directed by the Principal.

To thrive in this role, you will possess:

• proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks
• experience and competence in financial and/or administrative management
• familiarity with emerging technologies like Google Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere, along with a solid grasp of Facilities tasks and WHS
• valuable personal qualities such as tact, reliability, and the ability to work in a team effectively
• a commitment to honesty, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality
• a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new systems and processes
• prior experience working with children or in a school environment
• strong interpersonal and organisational abilities including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• a willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.

You will have attained:
 

• a minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience
• experience in a team leader/supervisor or personal/executive assistant capacity
• proficiency in financial and administrative management.
• a Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting, or a related field.
