Contract Type: Contract Position Part Time (0.80 FTE)

Prescott College is seeking a passionate educator to join our dynamic teaching team for Term 2, 2025. This role involves teaching History and Geography. It presents an exciting opportunity for a creative and skilled teacher to inspire students in a supportive learning environment. Initial .8 FTE fixed-term contract offered for Term 2 with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Supportive of Christian values
  • Qualified teacher with experience in History and Geography at the High School level
  • Expertise in planning, preparing, and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum
  • Commitment to supporting students' academic and personal growth
  • Collaboration with colleagues to foster a positive school culture
  • Providing constructive feedback on student progress

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality Middle School History and Geography lessons
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum or equivalent
  • Talent for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
