About You

As a TAS Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • teach TAS courses in Stages 4-6. The ability to teach Stage 5 Timber, iSTEM and/or Stage 6 Design and Technology would be highly desirable
  • apply teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning styles
  • implement engaging classroom practices that apply a range of effective, contemporary approaches to pedagogy in TAS
  • utilise formative and summative assessment to drive student progress
  • employ a data informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • support the College's educational initiatives and endorse innovation as outlined in our Strategic Plan
  • participate in mentoring and training alongside peers and build strong professional relationships.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education, with relevant study in TAS
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
