About Our School
Eileen O'Connor College is dedicated to providing quality Catholic education for young people with a mild to moderate intellectual disability from Kindergarten to Year 12. We promote a learning environment that embraces technology and encourages curiosity, enjoyment and enthusiasm for learning, which will last for life.
Our college provides personalised learning opportunities in small classes with a high staff-student ratio and access to allied health services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, positive behaviour support and counselling.
Our college is named after Eileen O'Connor, the co-founder of Our Lady's Nurses for the Poor, who's ministry of healthcare, advocacy and friendship to the poor and disadvantaged was even more remarkable because of her own disability.
We are a strong and vibrant school community: a community that pursues excellence in teaching and learning whilst nurturing the social and emotional needs of students to support them to become confident and resilient individuals.
