The Opportunity

We are seeking a Japanese Language Teacher to join our school community.

An ongoing position exists for a Japanese Teacher, in a supportive and close-knit school environment from the beginning of Term Two 2025.

You will:

Teach Japanese Foundation to Year Six.

Ensure effective design and deliver of the teaching and learning within the area of Japanese.

Manage the resources and facilities of the school within the Specialist Language Area.

Ensure the effective management of special student activities and extra-curricular activities that occur such as Poetry Competitions.

Promote the Japanese program through interaction with staff and students, as well as through online resources such as the school newsletter, website and parent committees.

Prepare, plan and implement school presentation for ‘Harmony Day’ each year
