Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Selection Criteria

  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  • Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Diocese (or working towards)
  • Demonstrated expertise as a classroom teacher
  • Appropriate qualifications
  • A clear understanding of contemporary learning and teaching and how this is reflected in classroom practice
  • Evidence of how technology is incorporated to enhance learning
  • Team oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrate flexibility and cooperation working within a team environment
  • Able to effectively manage behaviour positively and restoratively
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current NESA Accreditation
