This role is responsible for leading Abbotsleigh’s Junior School and Early Learning Centre, ensuring strategic alignment with the whole-school vision and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, wellbeing, and collaboration. The role is responsible for leadership of the Junior School; however, the successful candidate will have a PreK–12 perspective and, for the right candidate, the role will be extended into the role of a Deputy Head of the School, and as such, the HOJS will deputise for the Headmistress and Deputy Headmistress as required.</p> <p>As an Anglican school, Abbotsleigh seeks a Head of Junior School who is a committed and practising Christian, aligned with the school’s Anglican traditions. The successful candidate will be an active participant in the spiritual life of the school, fostering a community that upholds Christian values and principles.</p> <p>The Head of Junior School provides visionary leadership to staff and students, overseeing curriculum development, pedagogy, wellbeing programs, and operational management in a highly relational and collaborative manner.
