About Our School

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Enfield is a co-educational Catholic school serving students in Kindergarten to Year 6. It is a faith-filled community of parents, staff, students, and parish, grounded in the teachings, life, and values of Jesus Christ. About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
